Nott Design Studio Creates a Unique Blend of Functionality and Beauty

The facades of the old half-timbered houses inspired Nott Design Studio to create the ALSFELD collection of cutting boards. Each board in this collection has its own size and function, coming together to form a poetic interpretation of the charming streets of old Germany.

ALSFELD is a set of decorative cutting boards that combines form and function in a unique way. Designed by Nott Design Studio, this collection stands out with its distinctive features and strengths.

The set consists of four boards, each with its own purpose. The large oak cutting board provides ample space for chopping and slicing, while the maple milling cutting board with milling prevents juices from flowing down the board. The marble cutting board adds elegance and sophistication to the collection, and the heat-resistant stand ensures the boards can be displayed and stored safely.

One of the standout features of the ALSFELD collection is the beveled profile on each board, which enhances grip and stability during use. This attention to detail not only adds functionality but also contributes to the overall aesthetic appeal of the boards.

With dimensions ranging from 182mm x 20mm x 298mm to 245mm x 20mm x 398mm, the ALSFELD cutting boards are designed to meet various culinary needs. Whether it's preparing ingredients or serving food, this collection offers versatility and style.

The ALSFELD collection was created by Nott Design Studio in Dnipropetrovsk, with the project starting in September 2015 and concluding in November 2015. The attention to detail and the unique blend of functionality and beauty have earned this design recognition in the form of the prestigious A' Design Award. In 2016, the ALSFELD collection was awarded the Silver A' Design Award in the Bakeware, Tableware, Drinkware, and Cookware Design category, highlighting its outstanding expertise, innovation, and artistic skill.
